Ronald David Wilson

Ronald David Wilson, 68, of Rose Hill, North Carolina, passed away on June 11, 2026. Born on June 6, 1958, in Cumberland County, North Carolina, Ronald lived a life marked by individuality and passion.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Ronald served his country with dedication and honor. His time in the Marines was a testament to his strength and commitment to service.

Ronald had a deep love for his garden, animals, and music—three passions that brought him joy and defined much of his life. Whether tending to his plants, caring for his beloved animals, or immersing himself in music, Ronald found beauty and solace in the simple yet profound pleasures of life. His unique spirit left an indelible mark on those who knew him.

He is survived by his brother Kevin Wilson of Pine Tops; nephews Blake Wilson (wife Bailey) and Kristopher Wilson (wife Randa); his special great-niece Brook Wilson; and his cousin and caretaker Steve Wilson. Ronald was predeceased by his parents, Bizzell and Shirley Wilson of Rose Hill, as well as his brother Byron Wilson of Chinquapin.

Ronald will be deeply missed by many who cherished him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. 

A memorial service is set for Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 7:00 pm, in the chapel of Padgett Funeral Home on 401 W. Main Street, Wallace.
