Ms. Ruby Lee Giddens, age 85 of Willard, NC, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at Brian Center Health and Rehab in Wallace, NC. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 at Padgett Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Tom McMahon. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC. She is survived by one sister, Winnie Mae Martel of Ashville, three nieces, Jane Jones and husband Ronald of Willard, Deborah Giddens of Willard and Brenda Inns of Idaho, and one nephew, Randy Gray and wife Becky of Goldsboro. Born March 10, 1930 in Pender County, NC, Ms. Giddens was the daughter of the late Bruce Oliver and Nancy Jane Giddens. She was preceded in death by a two sisters, Bertha Giddens and Pearl Honeycutt, three brothers, Henry Solon Giddeons, Albert Giddens and James Earl Giddens and a nephew, Alvin Salmon. Ruby was the bookkeeper at FCX in Wallace, worked at Wallace Drug for several years and was a faithful member of the Mills Memorial Advent Christian Church.
