Samantha June Jenkins of Teachey, NC, passed from her earthly life on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.  Born on June 7, 1990, she is the daughter of Donald Elmore Jenkins and Elizabeth Joan Howard.  She was preceded in death by her stepmother—Melissa Jenkins, who she dearly loved; and her grandparents—RC and Mary Vann Jenkins.

Left to cherish her memory are her father—Donald Elmore Jenkins of Teachey; mother—Elizabeth Joan Howard of Fayetteville (NC); fiancé—Jordan Van De Casteele of Teachey; daughters—Emma May Dixon and Rosalee Anne Van De Casteele of Teachey; and sister—Jessica Dianne Jenkins of Teachey.

Samantha was born in Duplin County and grew up in the area.  In recent years, she worked as a medical assistant in a family medical practice.  Family meant everything to her and her daughters were the light of her life, along with her fiancé, Jordan.

A service to celebrate her life is set for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023 in the chapel of Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services of Wallace, NC.  Officiating will be the Reverend Brandon Kelly.  Family will greet friends at a visitation on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 6:00 till 8:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
