Sandra Smith DiDomenico

Sandra Smith “Sandee” DiDomenico of Wallace, NC, passed from her earthly life on the evening of Wednesday, April 1, 2026, while at home. Born on December 23, 1939, she is the daughter of the late George Grady Smith, Jr. and Edith Joan Thompson Smith. Also preceding her in death are siblings—Carol Donato, George Smith, and John Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband—Louis Michael DiDomenico; children—Sandra Lavenziano (Bonnie) of Del Ray Beach (FL), Mark Lavenziano (Beth) of Elmont (NY), and Andrew Lavenziano (Siri) of Little Ferry (NJ); grandson—Thomas Lavenziano of Elmont (NY); and siblings—Robert Smith of Monroe Township and Emily Lane of Piscataway (NJ).

“Sandee” was born in Bronx, New York and spent much of early life there. She worked in several places as a senior library clerk including the Town of North Hempstead, the Village of Mineola, and the Village of Garden City library.
