Sarah Jane Bland

Sarah Jane Bland of Sneads Ferry (NC) passed from her earthly life in April 2026. Born on October 28, 1946, she is the daughter of the late Joe Bland, II of Wallace (NC).

Left to cherish her memory are children—Robert Allan and Sharon Jean; cbrothers—Joe Bland III, Bob Bland, and Bill Bland; and grandchildren—David, Joey, Summer, and Van.

In growing up in Wallace and Duplin County, Ms. Bland accumulated many memories of and with the many friends she made during this time. These memories would remain cherished during the rest of her life, even though she made more memories in Sneads Ferry in later life.

Her life will be celebrated during the week of July 4, 2026, at the Topsail Island cottage, Living On The Edge, 203 N. Anderson Boulevard, Holly Ridge, NC on July 5-10 between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm.
