Born in Sampson County Mrs. Turner is the daughter of the late Wilson and Mary Allen Paul. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Turner. She is survived by a close friend Virginia Lovette; two daughters; Kathy Ann Russell of Goldsboro, NC and Linda Surber & husband Thomas Clayton of Rose Hill, NC; three sisters, Barbara Harris-Foy of Fayetteville, NC, Elizabeth Paul of Elizabethtown, NC and Betty Jo Paul of Wadesboro, NC; one brother, Wilson Paul of Hilliard, FL; six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
