Sybil Grey Rivenbark Dale of Wilmington, (formerly of Wallace) passed from her earthly life during the late evening of Saturday, June 4, 2022 while at Novant Hospital of Wilmington.  Born on January 6, 1942, she is the daughter of the late George Alex and Radie Groves Rivenbark.  She is also preceded in death by her husband—Ted Dale; daughter—Lori Moore; and siblings—Frank Rivenbark, Horace Rivenbark, and Joyce Hastings.

Left to cherish her memory are her son—Matthew Edward Farr of Wilmington; grandsons—Matthew Farr and Michael Farr, both of Wilmington; and siblings—Jerry Rivenbark and wife Bobbie of Rose Hill and Tony Rivenbark.

Mrs. Dale worked in real estate sales for Century 21 for many years during her work career.  Having lived many years in Wallace, she moved to Wilmington in 2019.  She was a warm and loving person who enjoyed reading and boating.  Her biggest joy in life, though, was her family and especially her grandsons.

A service to celebrate her life is set for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 in the chapel of Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services of Wallace, with visitation one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.  Family is requesting that, rather than flowers, contributions in her memory be considered to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or stjude.org/memorial
