Mr. Thomas Dwayne Hamilton, age 51, of Rose Hill died Wednesday February 22, 2012 at Milford and Reba Quinn Hospice Care Center in Kenansville. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Laurie Branch Hamilton, of the home, two sons, Nathaniel Hamilton of Beulaville, NC and Chris Tomassetti of Burgaw, NC, three daughters, Alicia Hamilton of Jacksonville, NC, Opal Hamilton Wynn of Jacksonville, NC and Brittany Bradshaw and husband Bradley of Teachey, NC and a sister, Mary Hamilton Southard and husband Delton of Kinston, NC. Born November 4, 1960 in Fayetteville, NC, Mr. Hamilton was the son of the late William Glenn and Cora Baxily Hamilton and was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church. He loved turkey hunting, guns and fishing. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harrison and Bobby Hamilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday at Padgett Funeral Home.
