Mr. Tommie Earl Davis age 62 of 309 Stevens St. Wallace died Friday Dec. 11, 2009 at his residence. The funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Padgett Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Larry Brown. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Marie Hatcher Davis of the home, one daughter, Tom-Marie Davis of Teachey, two sons, Robert Davis and Barry Davis both of Teachey, four grandchildren, Meagan Davis of Teachey, Cody Davis and Ashton Davis both of Ellenboro and William Davis of Wallace two sisters, Martha Vega of Magnolia and Doreen Davis of Wallace. Born in Lenoir County Mr. Davis is the son of the late William and Lucille Sanderson Davis. He was also preceded in death by a son, Karl Davis. He was a dedicated member of Wallace EMS serving over 30 years. He served as captain until his retirement from the EMS Service. Casket Bearers will be Pete Watson, Glenn Henderson, Linwood Kennedy, Pete Dees, Joey Davis and Warren Cavenaugh.
