Mr. William Baxter Sanderson age 79 of Wallace, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Brian Center Health and Rehab in Wallace NC. A native of Duplin County, Mr. Sanderson is the son of the late Leonard McCoy and Minnie Southall Sanderson. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lanier Sanderson of the home; step-daughters, Cindy Helms and husband Rex of Jacksonville, NC, Camellia Montford and husband John, Rita Baker and husband Tommy all of Teachey, NC ; step-son, Marty Sholar and wife Shelia of York Haven, PA; sisters, Elizabeth Brantley of Spring Hope, NC, Ruth Luck of Richmond, VA; brother, Robert Sanderson and wife Betty of Harrells, NC; grandchildren, Shanda Chambers and husband Matt of Knoxville, TN, Rickey Helms and wife Cindy of Smithfield, NC, Bradley Baker and wife Angie, and Crystal Baker all of Teachey, NC, Shane Sholar of Jacksonville, NC, Shawn Sholar and Katlyn Sholar both of PA., great grandchildren, Parker Chambers and Rieley Chambers of TN, Emma Baker and Abren Baker of Teachey, NC, Christopher Allen, Audrey Allen, and Trenton Allen all of Smithfield, NC and sister-in-law, Frances Sanderson of Four Oaks, NC. Mr. Sanderson is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Louise Saunders; brothers, L.N. Sanderson, Jr., John W. Sanderson and Hugh Sanderson.
