Mrs. Winnie Radford Moore, age 70 of Watha, NC, went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Padgett Funeral Home conducted by Dr. Alan Thompson. She is survived by her step daughter, Gayle Devane and husband Kevin of Rose Hill, NC, her step son, Greg Moore and wife Beth of Teachey, NC, her sister, Judy Matthews and husband Turkey of Teachey, NC, three grandchildren, Stacy Rooks and wife Caroline of Monroe, NC, Sarah Beth Hutchinson and husband John Berry of Charleston, SC and Matt Moore of Teachey, NC. Born October 3, 1944 in Duplin County, NC, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Howard and Ruby Ozel Hatcher Radford and was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Moore. Winnie worked at the Pender County Humane Society. She loved working in her yard and had a passion for animals.
