Andrea Lyn Bentley Casteen of Wallace, North Carolina passed from her earthly life to her heavenly home on Friday, December 18, 2020 while at her residence. Born in Oakland County, Michigan on March 30, 1984, she is the daughter of Daniel Kevin and Cynthia Ann Bentley. She is preceded in death by grandparents--Victor and Margaret Bentley and Clarence and Pearl McCollom; grandparents-in-law--Joseph and Louise Casteen and Carl Uzzell.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband--Zachary Ryan Casteen; children--Adlyn Jo Casteen and Clara Gray Casteen; parents--Daniel and Cynthia Bentley of Holly, MI; sisters--Nicole Hopper and husband Jarrett of Holly, MI and Danielle Nixon and husband Lee of Highland, MI; parents-in-law--Wayne and Karla Casteen of Wallace; grandmother-in-law--Eva and Daniel McLaughlin; brother-in-law--Grayson Casteen and wife Ashton of Fuquay Varina.
Andrea received her degree in education and was a teacher at Wallace Elementary School in Wallace, North Carolina. She came to North Carolina after marrying her loving husband Zachary. From this union were born two children--Adlyn Jo and Clara Gray. Mrs. Casteen was an active member of the Wallace Presbyterian Church in Wallace. The tremendous love among the members of this family is obvious to all who know them. Her loving presence here on earth will be long remembered by many for years to come.
A private service to celebrate her life is set for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Wallace Presbyterian Church in Wallace. To view the service, please visit www.wallacepresbyterian.com. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations in memory of Andrea Lyn Bentley Casteen can be sent to Wallace Presbyterian Church.
