Daniel Taft Futrell of Clinton, and formerly of Magnolia, NC departed his earthly life on the afternoon of Sunday, September 1, 2019. Born May 28, 1957, he was the son of James David and Frances Vernell Gideon Futrell. He was also predeceased by a sister—Cindy F. Lewis.
Left to cherish his memory are his step father—Charles Franklin Futrell of Willard; significant other—Kellie Cooper of the home; daughters—LeAnn Horne and husband Tony of Wallace and Danielle Duff of Kenansville; siblings—Larry David Futrell and wife Cheryl of Wallace, Randall Allen Futrell and wife Lynn of Wallace, Charlene F. Meshaw and husband Kenneth of Wallace, Michael James Futrell and wife Vickie of Castle Hayne.
Mr. Futrell was an employee of House of Raeford in the maintenance department. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and turkey hunting. History was very important to him in his reading. He also liked western movies, war movies, blue grass music, and woodworking.
The family will greet friends at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in the 401 West Main Street chapel of Padgett Funeral and Cremation Services in Wallace, NC. Interment will follow in the Rockfish Memorial Cemetery in Wallace.
