Evelyn Grace (Cottle) Pace

Evelyn Grace Pace of Rose Hill, NC passed from her earthly life on the early morning of Tuesday, April 19, 2022 while at home.  Born on April 16, 1950, she is the daughter of the late Meta Marie Hunter Cottle and Willliam Earl Cottle, Sr.  She is also preceded in death by her granddaughter—Ashley Marapese and her brother—Jeffrey Lynn Cottle.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband—Robert Joseph Pace; children—Tina Parker and husband Glenn of Rose Hill, Wade Thigpen and wife Greta of Chinquapin, and Stacy Pace of Willard; grandchildren—Christopher Marapese and wife Haleigh of Fountaintown, Joseph “Joey” Marapese of Beulaville, Cody Thigpen and wife Jessica of Chinquapin, and Jodi Pace of Willard; eight great grandchildren; and brothers—William Earl Cottle, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Calypso and James Cottle of Castle Hayne.

Mrs. Pace spent her younger years in raising and nurturing her children as a stay at home mother.  She loved all her family very much and they will miss her tremendously.  The grandchildren and great grandchildren were the most special to her, though.

There will be a private service among family at a later date.
