Early in life Mr. Jones fulfilled his military obligation while serving two years in the United States Army from 1967 til 1969. He was a member of the Rockfish Country for thirty plus years where he served on numerous committees and did a large amount of construction repair for the club. He was the “fan of fans” of the Wallace Rose Hill High School football teams during the past thirty-five years and assisted the teams and coaches in many, many ways during those years—missing only four games in this long period of time. This shows his elite love for the school.
