Jeffery Wayne Boone

Jeffery Wayne Boone of Rose Hill, NC, passed from his earthly life on Sunday, November 24, 2019 while at home.  Born in Sampson County on March 12, 1966, he was the son of the late Herbert Lawrence and Shelby Jean Batts Boone.  Also preceding him in death is a brother--Stephen Lawrence Boone.

Surviving are his wife--Tammy Gail Boone; children--Jeremy Ray Bryan of Chapel Hill, Daniel W. Boone of Raleigh, and Natalie Jewel Boone of Rose Hill; siblings--Vickie Ezzell and husband Sherwood of Rose Hill, Johnny Boone and wife Karen of Rose Hill, Diann Orlowski and husband Kenneth of Lake Orion (MI), Terry Boone and wife Gail of Rose Hill; very special friends--Billy Pate and Randall Casteen; many nieces and nephews to which he was a loving uncle.

Mr. Boone was a very talented mechanic with the ability to repair almost anything.  He had a passion for the repair of autos, especially trucks.  His life work was in the repair of machinery in the plant setting such as poultry production.  He liked doing it "his way"--when and how he wanted.  Jeffery had a real love for his dogs and the soap opera "Days of Our Lives".  It was very important to be a good provider for his family and he gave tremendous attention to sick family members when they were in need.  Above all else on earth, he loved his wife, his children, and his family.

Family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services followed by his funeral service at 2:00 pm.  Interment will be in Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey, NC.
