Kim Rivenbark Brinson of Wallace, NC departed her earthly life on the early morning of November 13, 2022, while at home. Born on March 9, 1957, she is the daughter of the late William Ellis “Red” and Verna Adelle Brown Rivenbark. She is also preceded in death by a brother—William “Rusty” Ellis Rivenbark, Jr. and a nephew—Adam Young.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of forty-three years—Tracy Earl Brinson; daughter—Amy Brinson of Wallace; sons—Elliott Brinson and Justin Brinson of Wallace; grandchildren—Bailey Howard and husband Bradley of Wallace, Savanna Hunter of Wallace, and Will Simmons of Magnolia; great granddaughter—Aubrey Howard of Wallace; twin sister—Kay Young and husband George of Teachey; brother-in-law—Randall Brinson and wife Susan of Wallace; sister-in-law—Deborah Carter of Wallace; nephew—Matt Young and wife Mary Blair of Wallace; nieces—Kim Carter of Wallace, Shannon Sykes of Wallace, and Amber Blanton of Teachey; and several great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brinson enjoyed the outdoors and working in her yard along with spending time at the beach. It was her pleasure to help others because she genuinely cared about those around her. The fall of the year was her time and Christmas was a joy. Of all her loves on earth, family was paramount and each member had a special place in her life.
A graveside service to celebrate her life is set for 11:00 am on Thursday, November 17, 2022 in the Rockfish Memorial Cemetery of Wallace.
