Michael Dean Pistner

Michael Dean Pistner of  Wallace, NC left his earthly home on Friday, January 10, 2020 while at Vidant Hospital of Greenville.  Born on November 3, 1966, he is the son of Michael Hearn Pistner of Wallace and the late Jo Ellen Herring Pistner.

Left to cherish his memory are his father--Michael Hearn Pistner of Wallace; brother--Joseph Patrick Pistner and wife Deborah of New Milford, CT; sister--Amy Michelle Darboe of Wallace.

Dean grew up in Washington state and attended college in Hawaii.  He always had an interest in computers and partnered with his father in their computer technology and repair business in Wallace.  He was especially fond of setting up websites, creative photography, and graphic drawing and took a great deal of pride in his work.  He was an animal lover through and through including all animals.  He loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing.   Beyond everything else on earth, he loved his family.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Poston Baptist Church in Wallace.  The family will greet friends at a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service at 1:30 pm.  Interment will follow the service in Rockfish Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Wallace.  Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services is serving the Pistner family.  Rather than flowers, family asks that contributions be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
