Michele Horne Obituary

Michele Marie Bérubé Horne, age 65, of Willard, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, while at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Michele was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late André Bérubé and Mary Giddings. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Graham Currie Horne.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gerald “Jay” Horne Jr., Allen Graham Horne, and Melissa Graham Horne (Tylor Reese); grandchildren, Daniel Horne (Vale), Curtis Horne (Amanda), Dorian Reese; great-grandchildren, Rhett Horne and Wyatt Horne; siblings, Judith Williams (Chris Renek), Fleurette Bérubé (Tim Berrea), Louis Bérubé (Andrée Turpin), Rene’ Bérubé (Kim Boutin); and the father of Jay and Allen – Gerald Wayne Horne.

Michele loved animals and had such compassion for them. She would rescue any animal that needed a home. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Her love for her children knew no bounds and she was a saint to her family.
