Nell Dean Brown

Nell Dean Brown of Kinston passed from her earthly life during the evening hours of Saturday, January 1, 2022, while at UNC Lenoir Health Care in Kinston, NC.  Born on April 1, 1943, she is the daughter of the late Russell and Nellie Irene Brown.  She is also preceded in death by siblings--Homer Brown, Robert "Bobby" Brown, Mary Catherine Brown, and Charles Brown.

Left to cherish her memory are siblings--James Brown of Wilmington, Betty Williamson and husband JD of Mount Olive, Donald Brown of Ocala (FL), Brenda Robbins of Sugar Hill (GA), and Morris Brown and wife Sandra of Wilmington.

A graveside service is set for 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the Henderson-Sholar Cemetery of Wallace, officiated by Mrs. Jan Fucili.  Family requests, rather that floral gifts, that one consider a contribution in her memory to Caswell Developmental Center--ATTENTION: GAMMA--2415 West Vernon Avenue--Kinston, North Carolina 28504.  Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the Brown family.
