Pamela Sue (Sholar) McLendon

Pamela Sue Sholar McLendon of Fuquay Varina, NC, formerly of Rose Hill, NC, passed from her earthly life on Sunday, April 19, 2020 while at home.  Born on November 19, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Frances Ruvenia Raynor Sholar of Rose Hill, NC.  Also preceding her in death is a sister--Mary Jo Teachey. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband--Timothy Vern McLendon of the home; son--Trevor Madison McLendon and wife Britny of Garner, NC; grandchild--Addison McLendon of Garner; siblings--Judy Brigman and husband Tommy of Wilmington, Jackie Wood and husband Steven of Rose Hill, Jan Evans of Rose Hill, Harry Sholar of Rose Hill, Harvey Sholar of Rose Hill, Buck Sholar of Rose Hill, Butch Sholar and wife Karen of Rose Hill, Tammy Lanier and husband Ray of Rose Hill, Lisa Yoas of Wilmington, Rhonda Pupp of Wilmington, and Scott Sholar and wife Ashley of Turkey, NC; and special friends--Raymond and Charlotte Edmonds and Jody Hardy, all of Fuquay Varina.

Sue always loved her family dearly and it showed in the things she did.  She had "a big heart" for others and would go out of her way to do special things for them.  There was an especial bond with her son, Trevor and her mother, Frances.  An excellent cook, she enjoyed preparing food for groups of family and friends.  There was a special place in her life for her feline friends.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.  Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services is serving the McLendon family.
