Suzanne Carter Obituary

Suzanne Estelle Carter of Rose Hill died on Friday, April 3, 2020 while at Vidant Hospital in Greenville, NC. She was preceded in death by her step father--Bob Swan and her son--David Lee Carter.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband--Dannie Carter of Rose Hill; children--Karen Brown of Wallace and Joseph Sanderson of New Bern; mother--Helen Swan of Cincinnati, OH; sisters Pat and June; grandchildren--Amanda Hernandez of Rose Hill, Justin Leach of Rose Hill; James Leach and wife Jamie of Boise, ID, and Kimberly Brown and husband Jessie of Warsaw; great grandson--Wyatt Corbett of Rose Hill; brother-in-law--George Carter of Rose Hill; and her very special canine friend--a Yorkie named "Peanut".

Suzanne was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and spent her childhood years there. She worked for Die Tech as an installer in the building of durable medical equipment for many years.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. It is requested that, rather than floral arrangements, contributions be made to the funeral home to defray funeral costs.
